やっとChapter Oneが終了☆

The children ran out to the road and climbed into the bus.

子どもたちは道路にかけだし、バスに乗り込みました。

 She just sat and stared out of the window, thinking what a blissful world it was and how lucky she was to have entire charge of a pig.

ファーンは椅子に座り、ただ窓から外をながめながら、「こんなにうれしいことはないわ！私がこぶたのめんどうをみれるなんて。」ととても幸せな気分でした。

 By the time the bus reached school, Fern had named her pet, selecting the most beautiful name she could think of.

‘Its name is Wilbur,’ she whispered to herself.

学校につくまでに、ファーンは思いつく１番すてきな名前を考えました。そして、「ウィルバー！」とささやきました。

やっとChapter Oneが終了です。ふぅー。意外と大変だな～。
Chapter Oneだけで何ヶ月かかっているんだろ（爆）

でも、この本とても大好き☆　英語の勉強にもなります。
